| Hosted by Lexington FC, a division of the Lexington YSA | ||||
| Games were played at the Kentucky Horse Park. | ||||
| The 2004 US Youth Soccer National Championship Series Kentucky State Cup was completed the weekend of | ||||
| May 15-16, 2004 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. For the most part the weather | ||||
| cooperated and we were able to get all the games in without a single delay. Although we did experience some rain on | ||||
| Saturday, we made it through without any delays and finished up everything on Sunday. | ||||
| Once again the competition during both weekends was very good producing several close outcomes in both semi-final | ||||
| and final games. Congratulations to all the state cup champions and finalists and I wish all the teams the best of luck at the | ||||
| 2004 Midwest Regional Championships in Rockford, IL. | ||||
| I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers, teams, players, parents, administrators, and referees | ||||
| that participated in making this event so successful. It takes much hard work and dedication throughout the year | ||||
| to make this event a success so my hat goes off to each and every one of you for your efforts. I would also | ||||
| like to thank Lexington FC for their wonderful hospitality over the last two weekends and for providing the players | ||||
| with a wonderful opportunity to participate on top quality facilities. Thank you again, good luck with the remainder of the | ||||
| season, and we hope to see you back at State Cup next year. | ||||
| Sincerely, | ||||
