2003
 Bowling Green
Kentucky
The 2003 Snickers National Championship Kentucky State Cup was completed the weekend of May 17-18, 2003 at the Lovers Lane Complex in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  For the most part the weather cooperated and we were able to get all the games in without a single delay.  It was one of the most competitive tournaments in recent years with 5 championship matches decided by penalty kicks and several semi-final and championship matches going into overtime before the outcome was decided.  The level of competition was outstanding and I think it is a tribute to how the game of soccer has grown in this state over the last several years.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers, teams, players, parents, administrators, and referees that participated in making this event so successful.  It takes much hard work and dedication throughout the year to make this event a success so my hat goes off to each and every one of you for your efforts.  I would also like to thank Southern KY Soccer for their wonderful hospitality over the last two weekends and for providing the players with a wonderful opportunity to participate on top quality facilities.  Thank you again, good luck with the remainder of the season, and we hope to see you back at the Snickers Cup next year
