Dick Marable
  • Dick has been a USSF referee since 1979 and starting in 1989 was the lead instructor in almost every entry level or recertification clinic in Northern   Kentucky over  the last 20 years.

  • In 1983, he was appointed the Kentucky District Referee Administrator until   2001 when he was named State Director of Instruction till 2006.

  • As the State Director of Instruction, Dick prepared recertification clinics and   provided instructional materials for all instructors throughout the state. He conducted instructor clinics, introduced entry level Spanish clinics and  introduced the first grade 9 Recreational Referee clinics in Northern Kentucky.

  • In 1989, he became the Head Referee for Northern Kentucky Soccer League and a licensed USSF instructor.

  • Over the past 30 years, he has refereed over 2000 USSF sanctioned matches, achieved Grade 6 State Referee, refereeing in 4 Regional Cups, and 12 United States Indoor Soccer League semi-pro matches.  In addition, he has been officiating high school soccer matches, is a founding NKSOA Board member and has served as Secretary and President of that organization. He has refereed in 24 of the 26 Bluegrass Games soccer tournament.
