COMMONWEALTH CUP 2007
Fall Recreational State Cup for Mixed and
Girls U10-U16

 Kentucky Youth Soccer Association along with local host association,
Elizabethtown Youth Soccer Association will host 94 teams as they
compete in the 2007 Commonwealth Cup presented by Liberty Mutual.
The event will be played November 3rd & 4th and November 10th & 11th
at Mike Carroll Soccer Complex and Nicholas Street Fields in
Elizabethtown. The tournament features 56 boys’ (mixed) and 38 girls’ teams ranging in age from Under-10 to Under-16. "Elizabethtown is honored to host the Commonwealth Cup presented by Liberty Mutual in consecutive years, we welcome everyone to our community and know that you will find us hospitable and ready to help,” says Elizabethtown Youth Soccer President Susan Masters. “The game of soccer has quickly become a sporting tradition in Elizabethtown." The first weekend of play will feature round robin play in each age division with the second weekend being highlighted by the final elimination stage. The Commonwealth Cup presented by Liberty Mutual tournament was designed and structured so that, regardless of ability, all teams and players can realistically strive for the goal of becoming a cup champion. This tournament will feature teams and players from all corners of the state so the competition will be fierce. Spectator admission to the Commonwealth Cup presented by Liberty mutual is free. |
