The 2006 Commonwealth Cup was completed over the weekend of  November 11-12, 2006 at the Mike Carroll Soccer Complex in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.  Other than a few cool days, the weather cooperated and we were able to get all the games in without a single delay.  Although we did experience some rain on Saturday, we made it through without any delays and finished up everything on Sunday.  Once again the competition during both weekends was very good producing several close outcomes in both semi-final and final games.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers, teams, players, parents, administrators, and referee spectators in making this event so successful.  I would also like to thank Elizabethtown for their wonderful hospitality over the last two weekends and for providing the players with a wonderful opportunity to participate on top quality facilities.  Thank you again, good luck in the spring season, and we hope to see you back at Commonwealth Cup next year.
