Fall 2003 Commonwealth Cup Contested in Versailles, KY
 
The 2003 Chevy Cup recreational tournament was held the weekend of November 15-16 at the Woodford Co Youth Soccer Complex in Versailles, KY.  Thirty-Eight (38) teams competed in five (5) age groups to determine who would be crowned the 2003 Chevy Cup Champions.  The tournament held tradition as the weather was very cold and wet throughout the weekend.  However, parents, coaches, players, and referees braved the conditions and the tournament was able to be completed.
 
Unfortunately, Mother Nature was not on our side much of the weekend and the fields began to deteriorate quickly. We would like to apologize to those of you who had games cancelled on Sunday morning and we hope you understand it was done for the safety of the kids.   I would like to thank everyone that participated in the event and we hope to see you back in the spring at the Tide American Cup.  Thank you to all the referees that participated in this event and special thanks to Tim and Lisa Turney and the Woodford Youth Soccer Association and all of their volunteers for hosting the Chevy Cup.  Without all of the volunteers, these events would not be possible for the players and their families.  Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you at the 2004 Tide American Cup in June.
