The Kentucky
Youth Soccer Association has developed an outstanding awards program to
recognize all the various participants in youth soccer in our state.
Working in cooperation with the United States Youth Soccer Association and
with state sponsoring partners, many of the awards offer the opportunity
for honorees to be recognized on the regional and national level.In a ceremony held in August, Kentucky Youth Soccer members came together to honor outstanding volunteers and administrators with statewide awards. Following are the award winners:
President's Award - Steven Shehan
Eurosport Coach of the Year - Boys Ed Pavlik
Eurosport Coach of the Year - Girls Larry Raible
Eurosport Referee Service Award - Male Henry Woo
Eurosport Referee Service Award - Female Mary Lynn Walsh
Eurosport Player of the Year - Boy Chris Pomeroy
Eurosport Player of the Year - Girl Liz Bosscher
Chevrolet Parent of the Year Terri Ashley
Administrator of the Year Rock Thompson
Young Referee of the Year - Male Steven Jay
Young Referee of the Year - Female Susan Matsubara
KYSA Recreational Coach of the Year Erin/Dan Hall
KYSA Competitive Coach of the Year Tom Utley
