Elizabethtown Youth Soccer

Presented each year to the best website for youth soccer in Kentucky, this year’s award goes to the Elizabethtown Youth Soccer Association for their website which was created and maintained by Greg Starks. Long an active particpant and volunteer leader for the Elizabethtown soccer programs, Greg accepted the challenge of bring the organization on line and had done it with outstanding attention to detail and a far reaching grasp of what the members need to have on line to make their participation more enjoyable.

Informative, easy to use, always updated, EYSA’s site is the hallmark for others to follow.

Greg Stark has held various positions in EYSA from scheduler to President. But he has been the force behind the EYSA Web Page. The EYSA Web page is just a little over 2 years ago. Greg works tireless on the web page creating an atmosphere to make EYSA one of the best soccer clubs in Kentucky.

Greg is married to Belinda and has three children. Greg works with CSI, a computer service company for the banking industry. His talents go beyond the web page. He coaches a girls competitive team. While registrar at EYSA Greg and Steve Doogs worked to increase our girls program. Which today is a major area of growth within EYSA.

His development of the web page aided in the communication of the soccer community of EYSA. It is a work in progress, always changing. He has placed forms on the web page for easy registration. Also, he set a forum area where EYSA people can ask questions and they can be answered.

You can check out the Kentucky Website of the Year at Etownysa!

Congratulations, Greg, and thanks for all of your hard work!

Administrator of the Year

The size and scope of youth soccer programs across the country grows with each year.  Kentucky Youth Soccer alone has grown at a pace of 5 percent for the past six years. The need for administration of those programs also continues to grow.

There are both volunteer and paid administrators at all levels of youth soccer.

The KYSA Administrator of the Year is designed to recognize excellence in administration.

Administration includes all aspects of the"paperwork" of youth soccer.  This is not an  award for the specialist who is dedicated to field assignments or solicitation of local sponsors for teams.

The Administrator Award is for those who put the parts together.  In some associations this is a paid person, part-time, or full-time.
