"He balances the enormous commitment of time and energy he has made to our sons with the demands of his career as a research biologist on the staff of the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

At the very same time he was deeply involved in the preliminary research for Louisville's hand transplant team, he was also making time to help out boys solve with problems finishing within the 18-yard line . .

He has taught them to be sportsmen, to play hard but to play fair. He has taught them to win with grace and to lose with dignity. He has taught them to strive without rancor and to achieve with acrimony.

He has taught them that for all the rewards winning brings, it is to play as well as you can that is most important." Maldonado holds a national "A" coaching license, the highest awarded.

Congratulations, Claudio and thanks for all of your hard work
